Matthew L. Adler is the Founder and Managing Principal of Adler Real Estate Partners (“Adler Partners”), where he leads the firm’s strategy and overall performance. He oversees the firm’s acquisitions, asset management, property management, operations, and investor relations. Adler Partners invests in multi-tenant light industrial properties across major U.S. Sunbelt markets.
Adler Partners is currently investing Fund V, with more than $320 million of equity commitments. Since inception, the firm has raised over $850 million of equity and has built a highly focused owner-operator platform dedicated to light industrial real estate. Matthew founded Adler Partners in 2012 as an evolution of his family’s nearly 70-year history in commercial real estate.
Matthew began his career in 1999 as an Analyst in the Consulting Group at CBRE (formerly Insignia/ESG) in New York. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
From 2010 to 2022, Matthew served on the Board of Directors of Miami-based Apollo Bank. He is actively involved in civic, educational, and philanthropic organizations, including the Advisory Board of the University of Miami’s Master of Real Estate Development + Urbanism program, as an officer of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, and as a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). In 2010, he was appointed by the President of the United States to serve on the United States Holocaust Memorial Council, the governing board of the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC.
Matthew and his wife, Amanda, are the founders of the Ella Riley Adler Foundation, established in memory of their daughter. The Foundation is dedicated to strengthening Jewish community and continuity, advancing education, and supporting the arts, with a particular emphasis on dance.
